The Role
Using the most advanced electrical design software on the market and Revit with full understanding of the British & European Standards, Building Regulations, producing electrical drawings and specifications
To provide services to clients and customers, maintaining technical control of the project to ensure optimum efficiency quality and value.
To interpret the design specification and performance specifications information, to produce system designs.
Provide the highest level of technical expertise, ensuring that the contract, technical philosophy and building strategies are understood and adhered to throughout the project.
Act as a senior point of referral for technical issues outside the authority of construction team, personnel or where guidance or support is required.
To take responsibility to ensure targets for budgetary controls and time restraints on projects are met
To co-ordinate and ensure consistent approach across a project for electrical systems
Oversee and Lead the production of all associated documentation including, but not limited to, design calculations, design specifications, operation and maintenance manuals and test specifications etc.
Provide technical guidance and be the point of contact for the electrical installation supervisors and subcontractors.
Provide technical information to support coordination of all installation systems , Such as Mechanical, Fire, Data, Controls, AV, Ventilation
